Biography Boston Reid, an Indiana native, came to Charlotte to pursue a career in NASCAR. Boston was an up and coming star driving for Hendrick Motorsports in the Nationwide Series until the tragic plane crash at Hendrick Motorsports changed Boston’s life forever. Boston was under the vision and leadership of Ricky Hendrick, Rick Hendricks’s son who was killed on that plane crash. This tragedy caused Boston’s NASCAR career to scale back. Boston drove with several other teams in the years to come, but none with the name and equipment of Hendrick Motorsports that would have put Boston in contention for a win. Even when things seemed at their worst, Boston never gave up. He learned how to network, meet sponsors, and get in doors that other people could not. This made him invaluable to many people and allowed him to form many important connections within the racing world. However, during this period in his life, Boston found a new love in Real Estate. While he was racing, he was introduced to a knowledgeable agent who helped Boston purchase his first home and find value in Real Estate. This opened Boston’s eyes to something he had never been exposed to before and a second career was born. Boston began buying investment properties while he was racing.
